Having endometriosis has changed my outlook on what exercises benefit my weight loss. Keep that in mind when you seeing folks do these high cardio ass exercises!

Also I have endometriosis…I DON’T TAKE FITNESS ADVICE FROM MEN…OR WOMEN WHO DON’T HAVE REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH ISSUES.

DON’T TORTURE YOURSELF TRYING TO MAKE WHAT THEY DO WORK FOR YOU AND YOUR SITUATION!

"UnitedHealthcare cancelled a woman’s surgery to deny her endometriosis surgery just hours before saying it’s not necessary. She has stage 4 severe endometriosis where all here lower organs are fused together and suffering severe pain. Corporate greed." --Dr. Eric-Feigl-Ding

removing your uterus can negatively affect your sex life *and* it might not even get rid of all the fucking endometriosis tissue. on top of that, the surgeon has to be careful when removing your cervix, which is btw apparently important for sexual pleasure?

Doctors tell women the BPD and endometriosis will go away if they get pregnant btw even tho these women don't want kids so yeah these doctors are misogynistic pieces of shit who dismiss women's mental and physical suffering

very little endometriosis is truly "unresectable". if you're being told that your disease cannot be resected due to being close to certain organs or a lack of comfort with operating in certain anatomical spaces, then it's time for another opinion.

3 days of pain in a row, because of this fucking chronic bitch that is endometriosis. I'm "used" to it, but still i feel tired, I will wrap myself with even more softness for the coming days and when I say I don't know how/what I'd do without my blorbos, trust me I really don't know.

3) Endometriomas (chocolate cysts) almost always indicate severe disease.

A general gyn surgeon won’t be able to handle complex endometriosis cases. Find expert help. Some surgeons will even do free case reviews to help you find your treatment path forward.

Your sister’s story sounds a lot like mine.

1) Endometriosis has a very strong genetic component.

2) MRI can frequently miss endometriosis either due to the experience of the person reading the MRI, or because the MRI resolution misses the lesions.

Thank you for the work you do. Because of advocates like you, I learned to accept that I can’t just push through the pain and fatigue of endometriosis. I give myself grace when I need rest. 💛🌻💛

Merry Christmas and peace to you.

i had an endometriosis excision! basically they cut out the inflamed tissues from various spots in my abdomen, my uterus was actually perfectly healthy. also took my appendix since that was inflamed (cause of the endo). so far i havent had any issues or pain returning post surg

I hope what I posted helps. A laparoscope is more a procedure, but surgical things involved. If I can help at all, please feel free to DM me. I had ovarian cysts that burst, years of endometriosis pain, and a hysterectomy by 40. Not an MD, just a survivor.

When dx at 23, endometriosis tissue went outside uterus and attached to my bladder.

A laparoscopy is the best, scans could miss endometriosis. MDs figured I had it young, dx post laparoscopy age 23. Endometriosis can increase ovarian cancer risk. Had hyst by 40, had pre-malignant cells both ovaries.

My sister was just diagnosed with advanced endometriosis because they opened her up to remove a cyst and ovary and realized she had endo on all her reproductive organs and bowels.

I have horrible period pain and a cyst on my ovary. But I had an mri that saw no signs of endo. Should I be worried?
