Been watching Transfomers for the first time with a buddy. Armada and Prime are my favourite so far. Cybertron is cute and G1 is silly good for when I'm working and just need background noise. Can't wait to get to animated and Earthspark and then... maybe the IDW comics?

They were the main reason I got interested in Earthspark!
I think they were a good character overall in season 1 but that's as far as I've watched Earthspark

I am embracing my ability to write niche, artisanal fanfiction only 2-3 people are interested in by writing an Earthspark fanfic that won't have any Earthspark characters in it for at least five chapters, probably many more

Reminds me of a recent visit to the Entertainer in Glasgow, whose TF selection was a handful of TF One 1-step changers, a few Earthspark finger puppets, about 20 ROTB Rhinox Bum Cannon Battlemasters, and nothing else.

the reason why i love skybound oppy is because he feels the fucking guilt of war so viscerally that it nearly destroys him. we see in earthspark that they definitely give this trait to megatron, why couldn't they have given it to optimus too? like arent they supposed to be the gay agenda???

another point to this is the fact that earthspark optimus' character is just so incredibly weak. like whenever i see him on screen, i'm just like "yet another bland optimus retelling, lets go". like fr bayverse oppy has more on es oppy.

like it just bothers me. the cassettes are attached to the one fucking con who never betrayed megatron, his trust or his loyalty. you'd think they'd earn a bit of respect from that alone. not to mention, i feel like it would go against earthspark megatron's entire schtick to insult warriors -

im just talking that they made it so weak. like again, decoy episode just kind of showcases- to me- that you can't have any kind of not immediately doomed and toxic megop without completely just rewiring megatron's character. which, tbf, is partially what earthspark IS about.

also, aside from my current brainrot, i think its hilarious how one of the earthspark writers ships megop and tried to make it canon without making it canon but failed. at least imo. and im not talking about getting fucking fired (i think hasbro was so wrong for firing the team)
