What a busy day! We’ve done TWO Northumberland castles! We’re exhausted! This one (Dunstanburgh) had a bit of a walk to it - well over a mile and we’ve only got short legs! We do love a castle though! To be continued…😂😘🐾 🏰 #sealyham #sealyhamterrier @EnglishHeritage

It wasn't a promising day for photography... then I saw this 🌞

Facing South the choppy waters of Embleton Bay stretch towards the horizon. The bay is dotted by rocky islets. On the horizon the silhouette of the ruined castle stand out against the gloomy clouds that nearly fill the sky. Small breaks in the clouds cast enough light to give depth and texture to the picture. This was shot on a Canon EOS 350D.... it's 8 Mega Pixels are doing a lot of work !
