De første af DSBs nye, spanskbyggede Talgo-vognsæt er kommet i trafik mellem København og Hamburg. I dag markeredes den første afgang mod Hamburg på Københavns Hovedbanegård (selvom det faktisk kun var tredje afgang med passagerer i DSB-regi!). Her ses toget ved København Syd.

Transcriptional repression facilitates RNA:DNA hybrid accumulation at DNA double-strand breaks | Nature Cell Biology
RNA:DNA hybrids accumulate at DNA double-strand breaks (DSBs) and were shown to regulate homologous recombination repair. The mechanism responsible for the formation of these non-canonical RNA:DNA structures remains unclear although they were proposed to arise consequently to RNA polymerase II or III loading followed by DSB-induced de novo transcription at the break site. Here, we found no evidence of RNA polymerase recruitment at DSBs. Rather, strand-specific R-loop mapping revealed that RNA:DNA hybrids are mainly generated at DSBs occurring in transcribing loci, from the hybridization of pre-existing RNA to the 3′ overhang left by DNA end resection. We further identified the H3K4me3 reader spindlin 1 and the transcriptional regulator PAF1 as factors promoting RNA:DNA hybrid accumulation at DSBs, through their role in mediating transcriptional repression in cis to DSBs. Og der var Welhaven i gang, men tar ikke høyde for at tilrettelagt og ansvarlig pyrobruk medfører lav risiko. Samtidig som det har blitt dokumentert at DSBs tolkning omskriver lovteksten.

Et barn ble truffet av bluss i Bergen, mens pyro ble tatt med ut på banen i Bærum. Nå må ansvarlige voksne være bestemte på at norsk lov også gjelder på fotballtribuner.

Da er jeg på turens siste togreise - i DSBs behagelige dobbeltdekker mellom København og Helsingør.

Det er sporarbeidsfestival i Sverige i helgen. Buss for tog på to ulike strekninger - med knapp byttetid i Göteborg. Derfor har jeg bestilt buss fra Helsingborg til Oslo - og sparer to timer.

We demonstrate that TDP1 catalytic mutations H263A and H493R (SCAN1), promote TOP1 cleavage complexes and TDP1-DNA covalent complexes respectively generating persistent TOP1-induced DSBs on quiescent cells. TDP1 mutants result in increased genome instability and reduced cell viability.

We also find L1-mediated DSBs can generate diverse types of large-scale intrachromosomal rearrangements, including deletions and duplications. Interestingly, we find L1 caused a pericentric ring chromosome!
