Over 2025, I had to unfollow a ton of folks whos accounts I'd followed for more positive reasons, but turned into mostly doomposting QRP accounts. I kinda wonder if some of them stopped doomposting, but too afraid to look. I keep it out of sight for my mental health.

i also don't like that all bluesky feeds are different mixes of doomposting, libposting, and goonposting. there's not enough diversity, and you can't really diversify the platform without figuring out The Horde

I saw people doomposting about housing in WoW, apparently it seems to be because there's a real money currency used in buying some of the items

I have a lot of problems with democratic socialism as a concept and Mamdani is as of yet unproven as a politician but I still celebrate his win because something is better than nothing. Immediately jumping to doomposting is what they want you to do.

my wife legitimately feels like if I step foot in Florida or Texas that I will be instantly tagged by an operator and then Fulton extracted to a black site, and it’s because of people like Erin. This kind of journalism is important but I don’t think that there’s any less juice left in doomposting.

did the mistake of checking hsr subreddit and it's filled with media illiterate doomposting which is what i've grown to expect but it's exceptionally hilarious how much they didn't get 3.7
