About in line with most DMC fans lists, yeah. I'd switch 5 with 3 but both are probably the series at their best.
DMC2 is...a game. It's easier to swallow than DMC: Devil May Cry due to lack of cringe, but it definitely has some rough edges.

Yeah DmC isn't the height, but the level design and music is fantastic. Added with it's own take on the DMC combat system it's a valid entry.
And yeah, DMC2 is still the worst.

To me in video games there's no greater sin that being bored.
I'd rather take a shitty game that has at least some endearing qualities than a boring af game that leaves me with absolutely nothing.

The reboot has the ability of judging it on it’s own terms despite it’s faults. DMC2 doesn’t have this advantage.

Once again, I wonder what DMC2 Lucia's so called "defect" was that she got thrown out for it. Maybe it was a little too much humanity or something of that nature, but how could they possibly know she even had any given the environment she was made in.
