That was not the case last summer when a driver from the same company made the same maneuver in a traffic circle further East on 41st and nearly struck the cyclist and their two children. #DenverWater needs to require better behavior from their lead-reduction sub-contractors. @denverite.bsky.social

What about this for a #BikeDEN connection N/S through #CongressPark of #Denver?
The bit.ly/DenverBikeUp... already has riders going through the #DenverWater Reservoir along the South side for the E/W route, so why not connect N/S along the Soccer fields?

Property Owners are directing downspouts off of their property & increasing impermeable surface area. This increases risk of flash flooding with every installation.

Four 5-gallon buckets of dirt & this sod still isn't up to the edge of the sidewalk.
The @DenverWater #GetTheLeadOut replacement just didn't backfill enough.
Also, I think it's a touch too high & should have been flush with the sidewalk.

I have email threads where David Pulsipher of @DenverDOTI says they're working closely with Denver Parks & Rec on the Congress Park construction project. However, Scott Gilmore of @denverparksrec says that it is up to DOTI & @DenverWater to provide a safe bike connection.
