It's not an "arm" of the democrats that are soulless corporate shills, it's the entire party. Both parties. They couldn't be elected if they were anything else. It's built into the system. Every senator should swing from a lamp post. Every billionaire should burn. Revolution is the only hope.

Now weeks later, all the effort and effect was wasted. Now the Democrats get to accept blame for the shutdown, because they wanted something they won't get, they capitulated and not the Republicans, and it shows that backroom deals mean more to the Senate than the will and fight of avg. Americans.

Those Democrats in the Senate that sold our future away because of some false hero complex, because of a worthless pinky swear by Johnson to extend an expensive subsidy program to insurance companies. They could have fought harder, for a better result.

Ultimately it was one Senato, Joe Lieberman who cost us universal healthcare, and today it was 8 democrats that cost us the ACA. I'm without healthcare now. But you have yours, so you wouldn't understand that.

Honestly even before he caved on the shutdown, I have disliked Tim Kaine for his pro forma, lackluster support of Ukraine.
The end result of this ridiculous waste of time is that I feel really good about donating to Ukraine instead of Democrats.
