We have no evidence of Deinocheirus’ colouring so I chose a light brown colour. Deinocheirus could grow to 36ft long and weigh up to 6.5 tonnes. It was the largest member of Ornithomimosauria and was part of its own family called Deinocheiridae. 3/3

what many don't know is that deinocheirus had a smaller, less completely known relative in mexico called paraxenisaurus. it is the only member of the deinocheiridae known from laramidia, and is a relatively recent discovery, being named in 2020

Dino Fact!

Paraxenisaurus (Strange Lizard) is a deinocheirid ornithomimosaurian from Late Cretaceous Mexico! It is the very first member of the Deinocheiridae family to be discovered in North America, as well as the first one to be found outside of Asia! Its holotype-(1/2)
