C++ also has a similar issue with return values defaulting to being copy-constructed, so it runs in the family. It feels so stupid that you must go through extra effort to make your code not waste performance when the compiler oughta be smart enough to tell the ONLY PURPOSE is creating an object...

Even from a housing security pov it doesn’t seem that great tbh. I’m not sure what it’s like in the US but here it’s much easier to kick someone out for defaulting on a mortgage than for not paying rent and rent increases are capped whereas mortgages aren’t.

Oh thank god! I was getting tired of the right-hand dock always defaulting to "CHAT" for new projects, even if said "CHAT" panel was itself disabled. This seems to fix it.

- When you auth you request read, r+write, or rw+delete permissions for each NSID 'root' (eg. com.atproto, app.bsky)
- your PDS OAuth landing page offers a toggle for each, *defaulting to off* (cos no-one reads)
- BUT…

You know, I am conflicted on this. On one hand, I wanted the #Democrats to stick it to the man but on the other hand, I don't want to lose my house, be unable to feed my kids and then potentially lose my job for defaulting on loans and mortgages. As Fed employee its already harder under this regime

Hexes are better than squares and all my games make use of a hex system, either baked into the rules or just defaulting to it for maps.
