Something I loved about SMILE 2 is how they went in a completely different direction by making the lead such an unapologetic piece of shit, and Naomi Scott just goes for it 150%. I found it to be a bit jarring at first, but then the decision to do this grew on me. And now I love it.

An excellent question and one I don't have an answer for. McSweeneys decision making and motives have both been extremely hard to fathom of late.

If you want to have a gathering for women, call it a gathering for women. If you want to have a gathering for women & non-binary people, call it a gathering for women & non-binary people. If you want to make non-binary people sad, call it the Women’s Community Gathering and put us in the fine print
