And on the QA side I know across the tech industry there's been a shift from dedicated QA teams to outsourced contractors and then crowdsourced/gig economy outfits and now GPT shit... not surprised to see SE leading a charge to the bottom there too

Btw I think the Glendale App is a lot more reliable - and it has a useful real-time crowdsourced map so you can see who is seeing what, where

I'd agree with something more crowdsourced for *policy* but I note that editorial decisions don't seem to follow policy at all. BBC News has great written policies but decision-making feels disconnected from them
