Actually, he's posting a lot about the process on his second account
And honestly, I have been following him for a really long time and he's a really dedicated army with many cool projects

I don’t mind paying for things that I use, but I love hacking away and creating solutions. I’ve been using the puppeteer pinger I made with the added redundancy of uptimerobot.com and cron-job.org to keep free full-stack render apps up. Am I a menace, Chat? 😇 github.com/DevManSam777... #100Devs

I'm so excited to launch my first open-source repository: laravel-usage-trigger! 🚀
This package lets you trigger stuff when you have users, but no cron job (without paying extra).

My mistake, it was calendar app Cron that was acquired by notion calendar... And that's what I used (and now I use notion calendar)

Cronboard - the therapy we all needed after breaking crontabs in prod 😅
Add, edit, and track your cron jobs from a clean UI - local or remote.
No more crontab -e nightmares.

To do it properly without duplicating data in my own tables, I’d have to add a cron job to compute the sums and manage how long those results should live. So next time you build an API, please include built-in aggregation

fwiw, "agentic" means cron job and "isomorphic" means "doesn't use APIs that are specific to an environment"

I am convincing myself that m-cron is somehow able to blend himself into society by making himself seem more human since he's majorly sentient now, because didn't the rainicorns have magic? So it'd be like how cake is changing how she looks when she goes to see him

バイナリをsystemdで頑張ってもらうとこまでやった
ラズパイくんがVちゃのログを集め続けるので、あとはgcsにアップロードする処理(完成してる)をcronで回すだけです
Zabbix入れてるからプロセスも監視できるようにしとこ

Automate Tasks in .NET 8 Using Quartz and Cron Triggers
This tutorial walks developers through automating recurring tasks in .NET 8 using Quartz Scheduler and Cron Triggers. You’ll learn how to define jobs and triggers in XML, schedule file-reading tasks that run every few seconds, and start a fully functional automation service that works on Windows or Linux. The guide highlights how Quartz simplifies timed executions and code-free updates for any repetitive workflow.

i think my absolute least favorite part of linux is that how an application behaves is completely independent of how you actually run it. cron jobs run with a different environment then systemd services than ones you run in a new shell compared to ones in the current shell. debugging is a nightmare.

we are bound to a vendor for our core database and were forced to change from their managed services offering to their SaaS offering that claimed backwards compatibility when they x’d it & it obvs wasn’t & now we have personal instances but no servers running jobs on the via cron or whatever locally
