The hat I got arrived with the brim sewn to the top, which wasn't advertised, and when I seam ripped it, a hole was made 😭 so I decided to weather the hat a little to give it a bit of a grunge look. I also added a little pin of his wind element symbol to cover the hole, that I made out of craftfoam!

Hes made of a cardboard box, a cone of craftfoam for nose, 2 Craft sticks, 2 craftfoam orbs for antennas, cheesegrated craftfoam for head corner shape, packaging tape, and Hot Glue

For paint I did layers of Modgepodge, Gesso, and Acrylic

Color is Wisteria!

@pastacosplay.bsky.social usually makes stuff like this from craftfoam! You can roll aluminium foil into a ball and press it into the pre-heated craftfoam to get the texture right

Thank you so much! And of course! The armor and the circlet are made from craftfoam with a layer of worbla! The gold lettering is actually just a golden posca marker, but I'm currently working on adding some embroidery instead :)

Look into craftfoam armor (aka foam smithing). Theres some excellent resources for beginners on youtube like KamuiCosplay and EvilTed. It’s a lightweight and cheap method of working that has a TON of possibilities.
