ICE agents, you better start saving your money, when the Dems take over ,you'll need it for your legal cost. You will be under investigations for a long long long time and legal representations don't come cheap .

This made insurance for individuals who are not part of a big group (eg, the employees of a big company) much cheaper.

What Trump is saying is: let’s get rid of this cost-saving measure!

It's a dress i will be able to wear to every wedding i am invited to forever and thus purchasing it is a cost saving measure (I am repeating this to myself while doing breathing exercises)

The failures are on purpose. Loads of people won't have the time or resources to appeal things like this, especially if it happens multiple times.

This is another cost-saving feature to make people give up on claiming their healthcare benefits.

And it’s absolutely worth noting that while Roberts got all this rehab political press for ‘saving’ the ACA in NFIB v Sebelius that happened at the cost of Medicaid expansion AND HERE WE FUCKING ARE BACK WHERE IT BEGAN

We will definitely remember what senators caved in this terrible deal they are voting on.

They are not saving anyone money on their healthcare.

Matter in fact their healthcare will cost 3times higher than it is now!

Trump concocted a $3 trillion phantom cost to panic the Supreme Court into saving his tariff disaster, a desperate fiction to hide how his trade wars have already bled the economy dry.

Ozempic goes off patent in Canada in 2 months. this is not a cost-saving measure, it is a profit-guaranteeing measure. Some Medicare recipients currently get Ozempic for free, and they're now announcing the minimum price will be $149

Certain blockbuster obesity drugs will be available for as little as $149 per month and more Medicare enrollees will have access to them under two deals announced Thursday by the Trump administration. https://cnn.it/43XXyAP

I don't believe it cut anything from the bills due to the way pricing works. Electricity is bought from suppliers at a single unit price per GWH. That price is set by the cost of generation by gas, the most expensive way. So someone is making profit, but we are not saving diddly squat.

One thing that I’ll never be able to forget, to show how evil Elon and every single one of his cronies are, is that they thought life saving nutritional paste that cost 30cents was too expensive. $40 could keep a child fully fed for over 2 months. He makes more than that per second, not even joking
"World's first potential trillionaire has killed 600,000 people, including 400,000 children" is the only headline that anyone should ever read about Elon Musk
One analytical model shows that, as of November 5th, the dismantling of U.S.A.I.D. has already caused the deaths of 600,000 people, two-thirds of them children. https://newyorkermag.visitlink.me/jUzNSc

Hey ABs: do you have 8000/mnth to put a parent in private continuing care? That’s a REAL COST.

Start saving… it’s only going to get worse.
Yes, those costs paid by the family too.

It was a placement by AHS. The only option given was this facility. It was this or you go on a long list that may take years.

(Also, may be of interest to some, one private continuing care facility in Sherwood Park,AB is $8000 per month.)
November 7, 2025 at 4:51 PM
What earthly use is that? All insurance is pooled because it's cost saving. How can one family ever save enough for ONE desperately ill member? The reason one has insurance, as Lloyd's of London figured out centuries ago, is to help people survive. There is no other rationale that makes sense.

When I joined the UW Biology department in 2001, everyone else had a nice nameplate on their office door — but I got a piece of paper with my name on it taped to the wall.

It was a newly implemented cost-saving measure, I was told.

You cheap-ass bastards, I thought.

Anyway, now I feel better.

With endless rubble and destroyed streets as far as the eye can see, any plans for Gaza's future are a far cry from where it is today, writes Lucy Williamson.
