At least on the consumer side, Spotify and Netflix offer products a large number of consumers have a need for on a routine basis, but - more importantly - can't easily be replaced by the consumer themselves, i.e., I'm not compiling and music or movies myself, take my money and you all do it.

Ah! I should credit the original repost of that conclusion of that thread to ianthe.online who had been doing most of the work compiling the evidence

The quickest way for me to find the wills for my OPS that I missed when compiling my web page was to search for “Waters Upton” in Findmypast’s “England & Wales Government Probate Death Index 1858-2019”. Not a technique that would work for all #OnePlaceStudies but it helped me! #OnePlaceWednesday

TRUE SHIT!! I'm definitely still in the beginner-intermediate skill range and i've been tryna really study hard and revamp my style by compiling art that i love and writing about why i love it. I've always felt Raya's the best to ever do it; exceptional understanding of anatomy in perspective

If a government official is not citing actual government economic info, that info must be bad.

(I also won't discount that they may have fired everyone capable of compiling said info.)
Trump admin Press Secretary citing DoorDash on local commerce price levels.

Quite possibly the most cursed ‘economic indicator’ I have ever seen.

(>99% of that time is spent compiling dependencies)

i imagine i could find some hack to do as usual in other languages and compile the dependencies before copying over the source so that docker can cache part of the build, but eh it's not as obvious as in other languages so im not gonna bother

During my study we where told to have developers develop for old generations of hardware, so that software would be more efficient and people would think about their code before compiling it. I know we only had a few Mb of RAM and small disks. but the concept still holds water.

The victims are compiling their own list. Expect two things from it: Only very very rich and powerful men will be on it and nothing will come of their names having been released..

SO MUCH! He's compiling a list and is letting us know. Based upon what he listens to now, it's a wide range from the B-52's to Conan Gray. He listens to a lot of varied albums, some of which were my faves when I was young too! So we get to share things with him and he is really receptive!
