I can't imagine what it was like out there in the 1700's. Cold, barren, remote but oodles of codfish.

Well, Bacalhau (codfish) isn't a dish, it's an ingredient.

The street-view FISHEYE webcam picked up a CODFISH swimming by, which served to AFFIRM the notion that, with sea level rise, Manhattan was not the right BOROUGH to move to.

Your 1943 meal plan is up for the day. We start with a good breakfast, move on to a decent lunch, and then consider dinner. I'm not sure how my taste buds would react to the main course, but you never know until you try it. So..Will you be trying anything for today's menu?? 🍽️ 🍜 #FoodSky

His solo stuff is great as well. Caught him solo at a place called Codfish Hollow. It’s this old barn they made into a venue. It’s on a farm in the middle of the Iowa country side. Spots to camp, if one wants to and such. Really good shit.

A sleigh load of fresh codfish came across the big Lake from Grand Narrows this morning. The fish was disposed of at fairly good prices. They report the ice as being fairly good, but were anxious to get home as quickly as possible. St Peters Mar 22 1897
