Because I'm training for a Coastrek 30km fundraiser, my little walk was actually over 11km with a short break in the middle.

On the other hand, I'm pleased I could do the 12km - I'm aiming for 30km in July as a Coastrek fundraiser for Beyond Blue.

The other 20km - it got very tiring even though the weather cleared but coastrek really nailed the festive atmosphere at the end, including a paper cup of (what else?) prosecco.

Completed a 50km charity walk today, raising mental health awareness and much needed funds for #beyonblue #Coastrek
2000 participants along the magnificent Sydney coastline.
Feet are now smashed!

Walked Balmoral to Manly yesterday (the first time I've done that route) including a bit of time on sand to train for Coastrek Sunshine Coast. 14.5km in 4.5 hours including rests - we're happy with that.

Got my first donation to Coastrek and I have no idea who this "Anonymous" would be. My best guess is it's someone who had the team link and saw I didn't have any donations yet (I'm just getting to it in the next couple of weeks - not a problem).

A beautiful way to start the day. Our meeting spot for a 20k training walk, Coogee to Dover Heights and back, Sydney.

The first third or so - the rain came at about the third kilometre and our rain jackets and ponchos went on; didn't stop us enjoying the beautiful scenery.
