This was probably the visitors' favourite at last Summer's exhibition. It is fundamentally oil on canvas, but with a tempera underpainting, and natural grasses incorporated into the top layers. 100cm X 100cm.

The scene is from a beautiful early spring/late winter day, showing the beauty that can be found in what's faded and past, before fresh new growth comes. The painting is mostly oil on canvas with a tempera underpainting and natural grasses incorporated into the paint. The canvas measures 100cm X 100cm This is the same painting but shown frames and on the wall in a white tray frame. Smaller seascape paintings are nearby, and there are a number of items on the unit below, including melamine bowls and plates from the Rose & Tulipani 'Sealife' range.
