Dinhe's left eye having a black sclera/red iris is because of a lot of reasons, but mainly that his heart is actually a mimic in slumber, making him effectively half voidsent. His facial tattoos are from the miqo'te tribe he was raised by, and his neck scar is from a conflict with a lover
