That is always mum’s fear when reading nature books or watching nature TV but actually there is only one brief sad part in this book which isn’t too much to bear at all. Overall, the story is joyous, heartwarming & uplifting 😸 #Catchatbookclub

My resolution is just to read more. After 12-18 months with vision problems that made reading almost impossible, it is nice to be able to focus on a book for more than a few minutes. I want to intersperse non-fiction with novels. 📚

Have you read this? By one of the judges on The Great British Sewing Bee. He is passionate about buying quality goods that last, and is incredibly knowledgeable about clothing. It also discusses other items, not just clothes. And how the quality of things has gradually got worse. Fascinating!

Next month for #catchatbookclub I’m rereading a classic & very relevant trilogy. I haven’t yet read the 2 new books, so that will hopefully be March. I’m trying very hard to get back into reading as I lost my zest for reading after I lost Jack a few years ago. #thehungergames
