When my mom had her cancer diagnosis in late ‘24, we had a light hearted joke about tragedies coming in threes. The 2nd was the fire and the third was around now… While not directly involving them, it is related to their business and still just rough.

This doesn’t even change anything. They’re pulling money that would have gone toward something in the future to still fund the chatbot grant, then using GDQ money to replace it. GDQ is still basically funding this stupid chatbot and who knows what other dumbassery Prevent Cancer might be up to.

This could give companies immunity in tens of thousands of lawsuits over chemicals linked to health risks such as cancer, Parkinson's, and infertility.

There is a non-zero chance that Scott Adams' cancer is actually in remission and he's just going to pull a "my faith cured me" to up his grift game.

i really hope that, if they are interested in AI for medicine, they use grant money to fund AI that'd actually be useful for cancer screenings than a fucking LLM

AI is good at data analysis and pattern recognition. it's not good at much else.
