I had a dream that I was in the meat section @ Costco and Lewis Hamilton came in and shook every one of the bakery/butchers hands and thanked them for their hard work. I got to meet him and he was the nicest person ever.

Been asking same question for years. Where’s the electricians, fitters, nurses, bakers, builders, butchers etc. When I was in the LP in the 70’s to 90’s unions or councils were where you earned your stripes and were selected to stand. Now they’re all ex uni then straight into political research

I think there is a fairly natural way to tie voter priorities and revulsion to ICE together because people kind of intuitively understand deporting butchers and restaurant workers isn't going to make food cheaper. Donald Trump only really cares about ultraracism and belligerence.

A friend and I ate at a restaurant at his recommendation. He's known an employee there for ages. The latter informed us that the restaurant buys meat equivalent to a whole sheep from a halal butchers in East London at a cost of half the price of normal mutton.
