I read about (basically) this in Why Buddishm is True.
It helped temper my road rage of all things. I need to read that again, I’m sure 22 year old me missed some things lol

I read books on stoicism and Zen Buddishm. I learned about non-violent communication and cognitive bias. I fell in love. I found the courage to return to Italy to face the country and the people who'd demonized me. And through all this, I developed a meditation practice.

Thank you so much for sharing. I'll check the book out, I love reading. My parents read a lot since we were kids. Mom was a teacher for elementary school. I got her love for learning. I also love Buddishm. It's impossible to summarize a life full of experiences, I get it. Keep in touch! ❤️🙋‍♀️

Go figure, so do I and everyone I know LOL. For me its balanced by science, Natural History and a whole lot of Eastern Philosophy (Taoism, Zen, Chán Buddishm)
