#brainstuff
When I got one of my diagnoses I was excitedly telling people, "I have an autoimmune disease!" and most of them were like, "... I'm sorry?" except a friend who also had Syndromic Nightmare Bullshit, who said, "CONGRATULATIONS!" and hugged me.

Brainstuff like that too I just don't have a good story.

can't believe it took a typo for me to put this together, but BrainStuff absolutely implies the existence of BrawnStuff

I feel like it's more of a corruption in the heart but then I have little faith in the brainstuff of humans in general

Putting brainstuff into words is always helpful.

two general hypotheses:

1) scaling works, and memorization is a significant component of how and why scaling works
2) cognitive abilities and bodies of information which we think of as very large or difficult can be put into fewer bytes than we would intuit; brainstuff compresses well
"you can fit approximately correct answers to almost any question you care to name in maybe forty gigabytes" is not a result i would have expected in 2018.
I think probably the fact that what we perceive as vast stores of knowledge and understanding are able to be frozen into LLMs so easily just means that a lot of what we think is different stuff is, in practice, really just redundant repetition of the same stuff with different signage.

a great point. kindness, honesty and sincerity don't take a lot of energy. it's default-state brainstuff.

but they also require charitability and humility. and those, well. i don't think those two are easy for everyone.

i think about this a lot. sorry for being random.

I think regardless of Marr’s intent, there’s an important point here which is that his levels are geared toward understanding functional, not neural, phenomena (e.g. vision, not visual cortex).

If your primary focus is brainstuff it seems silly to presuppose a single function.

I’m working on a parody of 199X Sitcoms with a focus on roommates in a Friends/Seinfeld/HIMYM vein. Any recommendations of sitcoms that aren’t those three but still play the same way, or any videos about this genre I could listen to at work to help me get my brainstuff on this?

Plaid refers to my love of ska-core, and matter refers to my messy neurospicy brainstuff.

Not gray matter or white matter.

Plaid matter.
This was a good thread on the X site so let’s go again here.

Why do you go by the handle you do?

My father (such as he was), was described in one of the many reports from my childhood as "A Raucous and volatile man who disturbs and perturbs most of those around him"

Sorry if you go by your name.

Amazed me, considering how much I enjoyed s1, that I could remember next to nothing that happened in it watching first ep of s2. Which might be my corroding brainstuff.

I also haven’t seen anything to do with WWDITS either and Idk if that’s just this site being weird or the season is just trash so far…… I haven’t caught up yet thanks to my fucked up brainstuff and I am WORRIED, like even Twitter isn’t showing much whenever I do a rare check of it lol

Brainstuff lately has very been like

Okay art comes after chores. Can't do art before chores.

So I should get up. To do chores.

But what if chores takes too long that I can't do art.

I don't want to do chores.

#art #artworries #brainstuff

So, I'm not sure if this is just a me thing or if it's a more universal experience so I'm dropping this question here;

Is it normal to be jealous of other people and their art skills?

I'll be the first to admit that my art is a little strange but hey.
