does everybody live in a dreamland, is this dreamland all that we know?
swallowing us up in an avalanche, and blurring these lines with smoke...
they tell me that i should be a real man, but the only thing that i know
is that i'll find my way out of this wasteland, 'cause this wasteland ain't home.

Caught some northern lights tonight, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen them.
They showed up more strongly on the camera than irl, but we’re in the middle of the city and it was kinda cloudy.

When I was that same pre-K age, I was more or less a prodigy at reading. Math I was at best "ok" at, it didn't keep my interest. Today I'm a software engineer with over 25 years experience, but I can barely read two paragraphs in a book without my eyes blurring and my attention waning.
I think the belief by the powerful that "people will put up with many things if you are excellent at math" is incredibly revealing in terms of understanding How We Got Here

Right wing political operatives make certain that obfuscation is constant. Line blurring. Goalpost moving. Gas lighting. Wharaboutism. Bothsiderism. Privilege, we are told, is private law. There aren't supposed to be high born and low before the U.S. Constitution. #WeThePeople must demand #Justitia
