- took art classes in hs but was less skilled than my peers, compensated with an interest in 3d
- took a computer graphics class, liked it enough to do an independent study focusing on blender
- saw httyd, inspired to pursue 3d professionally
- got into college for film, switched to 3d graphics

It's funny how much I grew as an artist this year and I really want to focus on improving my skills in this regard, too. I will need to do that on my own, because my bachelor is not focused on art, at all. In my second semester we're going to work in 3D (and Blender).

Oh i did throw loops around the jaw which previously had nothing supporting it. The change is more then subtle.

Blender 3d is free. And not actually that hard to use, if you take the time to watch a few free tutorials on youtube. You can do so much with it now.
