madbotany thoughts

with baxter working in bioengineering i know he would be extremely fixated on ivee now the thing is… i’m not sure if i want to solidify her creation as accidental or change it to her being made in voxtek labs regardless i think baxter would pester tf out of her

Uh, wut. Do I have this right? You have sent me email to inform me that unless I specifically say "no", you will use AI to take my work and turn it into a comic?

Plant bioengineering can be quite annoying. Look at this crap; the type of agar drastically impacts transformation efficiency. The geometric complexity of all these variables makes for one hell of a ride to find the ideal brew…for each stage of regeneration stage.

Lord help us.

Excited to introduce Auxenochlorella as a new algal reference organism for fundamental plant science and bioengineering. A paper in two parts: a genetic toolkit for site-specific genomic manipulation, paired with the most unusual genome I’ve ever worked on

No matter how advanced you become in bioengineering, the rake awaits us all. The most important thing to do in this godforsaken field is to learn deeply from failure, maintain intellectual humility, and speak up about your struggles. You never know who is out there ready to help.

Grandpa on social media!

You graduated from law school over 50 yrs ago. My daughter graduated 5 yrs ago.

You were our congressman in Brooklyn before our children were born. They’re in their 30s now, working in bioengineering, civil rights & legal aid.

You are an embarrassment. Please retire.

The implications of these misunderstandings on animal brain injury span many fields. Some of the most egregious research appears in biomaterials and bioengineering research, which simply lack biological input, for ex trying to simplify a woodpecker down to a series of spheres (real example) ... 🧪
