I'm just a hobbyist beekeep, but I've had tons of friends go "I've got a swarm of bees in my back yard" only for me to find they have a wasp or hornet nest.

Also me: I want to beekeep, have a mini farm, start a homestead, grow as many plants as I can, and open my own café/bakery/bookshop.

Seriously, don't buy any of this stuff. If you want some real, proper, local honey contact your local beekeeping association and they will tell you which local beekeepers are selling their real honey.

I'm also seeing some sort of paper wasp. Unfortunately you probably need to get them out, either by removing the nest or by exterminating them. As the nest gets bigger they're more likely to get territorial...

This is ABSOLUTELY the cheapest way to beekeep, y’all. Anyone wanting to get started, it would cost you about $525 a hive this way, I recommend two when you start. And about $200 in other equipment. Total 🟰 $1,225.00
NOW is the time of year to start & get your bees! 🐝
