This aside, this was the first time I've had to use a Mac in about 9 years and before lunchtime I found two things that really bug the crap out of me:

Only a handful of these companies are B2C. I’ve been with T-Mobile or subsidiaries to them for about a decade now And im about done. But most these aren’t companies you can simply (or even easily) boycott or otherwise punish with your wallet.

eliminating de minimis makes UPS either force the consumer to act as IOR, which they dont habe the relevant expertise to do, or UPS has to assume liability for the goods (something im also sure theyre not keen on). the whole low budget B2C e-commerce market is on pretty shaky ground here
