Keyrin Sev never wanted to get into the droid selling business, but after a smuggling job went awry years ago and his weapons cache was swapped with a load of surplus droid parts, he decided to make the best of it by setting up shop on Apheloma in hopes of selling enough to pay for the next job. But he became known as the droid guy (especially after a clan of Jawas traded him their entire surplus to start their own marketplace stall) he eventually accepted his fate and now offers a wide range of reasonable quality parts at a steal.

The '80s Star Wars Droids cartoon has some good designs in it. Here are a few.
Model sheet for an imperial droid that resembles a cross between an astromech droid and a probe droid, titled "SNIC QC-5 Unit" Model sheet for a unique freighter that has some features in common with the GR-75 rebel transport, as well as an offset, Millennium Falcon-like cockpit that doubles as an escape pod. Model sheet for a "Passenger Liner," a long narrow rounded ship. A model sheet for a ship called the Argo Moon, which looks especially like a ship that could have been created as a kitbashed model.

So. note to self, be sure to dry the CF-PETG THOROUGHLY before starting a 2.5kg, day and a half print with it and not just do a quick test print and go "ehh, should be fine"

But other than some ooze boogers to clean up, the R6 astromech dome came out pretty good.

Whenever I day-tripped to LA, I made Downtown Disney my last stop, get a late-night food, buy some Lego, hopefully something Astromech-y from the Star Wars store, etc.

...and then they stopped validating parking with buying stuff in the DD area and made you pay the whole fee.

I know this is going to sound stupid, but it’s actually true. Disney has been on a crusade of devaluing the visitor and worker experience at the park for well over a decade. It’s palpable how little regard they have for their customers and their workforce. I hope this is a tipping point.

One thing to understand about most “Disney Adults” is that the parks have only gotten more expensive and crowded while offering less ever since they reopened in 2020 so it doesn’t take that much more to make people stop going. And the theme park forums are rightfully pissed about Kimmel

I had been wanting to do this for years, but I finally broke down and Bricklinked all the parts needed to recreate LEGO's 2019 employee holiday gift: a holiday-themed X-wing (set 4002019). Although I DID add a few Minifigures from previous Star Wars advent calendars into the little tableau.
