Lowkey one of my favorite adaptations. I lose myself in this artwork every time. Turns the Broadway play and Langella film into one of the most dreamy picture books ever made (and with a much crueler, colder spin on those adaptive choices).

With Halloween approaching, what better time to share this amazing piece by Tom Dubois used on the box of the #Castlevania Anniversary Collection by Superdeluxe released in Asian territories. Used different sources to retain detail, applying the usual upscale/clean/retouch combo.

MATSUSHIRO Metamorphs Devil Robot! A UK release of the Maruka Magic Robo. Weirdly it kept the Japanese “Devil” name rather than renaming to a more apt (and less Satanic-panicky) Dracula or Vampire. Robot mode doesn’t have any vampy flourishes but does have lovely clamps for holding Halloween candy
