fujimoto is the kindest dude alive ❤️ i think the first short here is the best solely bc it knocked me the fuck out in a way the rest just really did not but it’s still a good watch and one of the better/most consistent anthologies we’ve gotten in a bit

Yes, looks like a great publisher for microfic. I just discovered Drabbledark and I’ll definitely read their other anthologies! I saw a lot of your drabbles in the volume III. 👍👍👍

Thank you!
The Drabbledark books are great. In general, I'm always a fan of the Shacklebound anthologies.

Really? I thought she'd won a bunch of literary awards, and for a while at least, "Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been" was included in a billion anthologies and textbooks (I'm pretty sure I read it for school at least three times between high school and college)
But the shitposting is stellar

Only 10 days left in the Kickstarter, and we still need $498! If you can chip to help an indie publisher, we'd appreciate it.
I'd love to see these two anthologies published.

I really need to get a new side bookcase one of these days. My anthologies/TBR pile is out of control, mingling with my toys. With my iPAD (ebooks and PDFs), I have enough reading material for the foreseeable future. #WritingCommunity #ReadingCommunity #Reading #Fiction #Paperbacks #Books #BookSky

These sound really cool. And congrats on being a part of it! Unfortunately my brain does not do anthologies. Which sucks cos there’s so many great sounding ones!

I don't know exactly how many I have. Four IKEA Billys full of fiction, four of non-fiction, plus another ~400 or so anthologies, mass market paperbacks, etc. If I figure a shelf holds 150, that's 1,600 or so, plus another 1,000 or so ebooks.

Doing anthologies w/$50 page rate then split 50/50 with a writer so it ended up being a $25/pg rate and then spending avg 12hrs+ per page is what landed me in hella burn out land. Especially while working full time and having a 3mo deadline for the completed 10-20pg comics.

This is a good day for writerly validation. Two stories published in two different anthologies, and both of them were selected to be the first story in each book. Hard to beat that. 😍

Homie, you NEEEED to give the Jak and Ratchet ps2 games a shot. Spyro and Sly are also good, don't get me wrong, but my silly lil orange guy and broody moody elf still have my favorite anthologies of that generation :3

I've got a couple of different Muddy Waters anthologies that are great. Champagne & Reefer from either the late 40's or early 50's I think. He has a lot of lines that are funny also and that helps.

One of my favorite people in the whole world! Editor Sandra Martz! Not sure who remembers poem made very famous by a little known poet here, Jenny Joseph, “When I Am an Old Woman I Will Wear Purple.” Sandra was the woman behind those wonderful anthologies published by Paper Mache press. #writing
