‘A kind of birth’ pulses with an earthy, tender life force. The imagery of fire and water mingling like blood in an amnion is beautifully visceral, capturing a rebirth that feels both ancient and immediate. I felt drawn to the natural intimacy woven into each line. #KeepWriting #PoemsAbout #Fires

Listened to a lot of Akira Yamaoka, Nine Inch Nails, Portishead, Massive Attack to find a vibe and then wrote the first draft blind
