Yeah, I think that’s probably where it stands. I’m very much a bought in, longtime gamer and if it wasn’t for Nintendo clinging to the old business model of their hardware being the only way to play their games I wouldn’t own a console at all.

During my teens and some of my 20s, I lived in a Christian Conservative neighborhood, and I'd hear shit like this *constantly*. I had to tolerate it for so many years, but I eventually lost my patience. I just want to yell "shut the fuck up!" continually at them.

This evening drinks at Providencia. It's significantly easier to get seats when all the nonresidents leave town. It's one of the things I miss most about not spending Xmas in DC. But there are other holidays to spend in town with the city quiet.

Like, I'd love to think that people's fundamental empathy is enough, but we know it isn't. But! It does all add up, right? And that is, I think, good! But it does make things a struggle when you need to convince people to allow SOME injustice because we live in a society that is a blood machine.
