However, the streaming compression butchered the version that viewers were watching! For some reason the compression algorithim REALLY wanted to make sure all the gridlines of the CRT grille did not get compressed away!

I'm afraid of this site becoming toxic again, it feels like it is inevitable. Twitter didn't just become Toxic because of Elon Musk, he just slightly added more. Hopefully the algorithim here forces people to not revert back to the Chemical spill site.

algorithim/no algorithim.... I rarely notice a difference either way across different social media accounts. Seems like some people got it, some people don't (and I don't 🤷🏻♀️). tbh I've given up trying to understand it all.

Always a bit skeptical of NSA MoM % change stuff, especially for something as volatile as this particular PPI series. So I ran it through a couple SA algorithms. 98th %ile MoM for TramoSEATS and 97.5th %ile MoM for X-13 ARIMA.
