Tales from the weekend... yesterday we headed south to the Saxony/Saxony-Anhalt border to explore the network of lakes that were once deep, open-cast lignite mines. Villages were swallowed whole by these mines as hung chunks were taken out of the landscape... #adventuresbeyondthefrontdoor
