#USDA didn't report any new #H5N1 #birdflu infected dairy herds today. They only reported 4 new herds last week, in CA (2), MI (1) & NV (1).
Given what's happening in the US government right now, it's not clear if there are no new herds to report or a testing backlog.

Drinking pasteurized or raw milk from #TexasMooFlu infected cows, is unlikely to kill anyone. The danger of tolerating #H5N1 in milk was always the widespread opportunity for reassortment where those who don't consume dairy are ultra vulnerable.

There's no #BirdFlu human-to-human transmission, should be a rallying cry to action. These bovine mammal-to-human transmission cases will change our ability to contain and control the situation and once it does it will quickly find a way beyond our control.
