My personal choice was B4: The Lost City, which came in third at 17%. It's a banger of an adventure which is IMO one of the nearest things to a mega-dungeon in classic published form. A gorgeous map demonstrates that scope, and we also have D&D's first eldritch horror, Zargon.

Doing some digging, my best guess is the other film I remember was likely Discovery, starring young Fairuza Balk (yup), who meets a ball-shaped space creature called Zargon and then flies all over BC looking at the beautiful landscapes. Essentially a tourism film with sci fi pasted on it.
