As I write and think about #meditation, I realize the hope underlying my practice is to be more #mindful that my thoughts are not me. And my feelings are not me. And that I get way way too attached to thinking and believing they are me.

Engaging in OCD compulsions makes you feel in control for a moment, but the uncertainty will creep in again soon. Healing from OCD means responding to the thoughts with a shrug rather than being their slave.
