Felt like you could reach out and touch it, with physical models still looking better than CGI, I think. Place was pretty crowded. I knew the plot, but still was tense and fidgety during the Battle of Yavin, and everybody cheered when the Death Star exploded, and again when the credits rolled.

I wonder if Vader, in his bacta tanks and oxygen pods, just watched pod racing to pass the time?

Just clocked that Rogue One showed us both C-3PO and R2D2 on Yavin. So they could have just told Luke and Obi-Wan to take them straight there, skipping the whole Death Star shenanigans.

Oui, surtout que le premier épisode se situait 5 ans avant yavin donc il y avait moyen de faire 5 saisons, 1 par année. Et il y a une intrigue qui a été trop vite balancée à la poubelle. Mais bon, au moins la saison 2 qu'on a eu était géniale, même si rushée

A lot of this show's fandom fell in love with the *aesthetic* but didn't truly absorb what the show was trying to say (which I don't think it succeeds, either, but whatever).
