farming / crafting / ranching / fishing rather than doing Everything All the Time, as I'm doing.
There have been a few moments when I didn't know what I was doing from help text / context clues (wdym I can break down those blocks in the mines, my pickaxe seemed to do nothing?) But wikis exist.

honestly I Want To Believe the WOTC writers just googled "bg3 vampire spawn list" and found this (second result) and just went with it. not the first time canon writers have cribbed from fan wikis/etc www.reddit.com/r/BaldursGat...

If you write for the fan wikis you won't make anything worth putting in a wiki!
stop writing like the fan wikis fuckin matter

The first two days are still hard clay but once it’s starts unfolding itself 🤌

The annoying part is that many of its best critiques are lodged behind huge spoilers that would absolutely affect gameplay, if you’re at all politically minded. It’s why, I think, both wikis are deliberately obscure.
Adrift, desolate, surviving. Even those thriving are doing a very bleak version of it. A perpetual sense of sharp rocks and halitosis. Maybe something to focus on intensely for 6 hours at a time to feel satiated, narratively. In small pieces it’s a real mood killer.

This has always been blatantly ridiculous to me because the "reason" as it's explained in wikis is dumb and isn't how genetics or hormones work. It's outdated and hasn't been literally touched upon in canon in decades

"Mit Wikis kehren wir zurück zur eigentlichen Idee des Internet", heißt es auf dem 1. Wikiposium der Österreichischen Computergesellschaft vor zwanzig Jahren.

The culture of fandom wikis is also wildly influenced by a rejection of ambiguity and subtext; I remember when people realized that pretending those aren't real story elements gave them a cheat code for shipping debates lmao. If it's open to interpretation, it's a crackship

There was an interesting spat between a Picard S3 actress and the Memory Alpha wiki where she wanted them to not say her character was dead, as that wasn't on screen, because future writers would go look at wikis to see who was dead & who wasn't and that could decide who got rehired

I don't even care about Bond, I think he's shit, but like not being able to write around that situation because like OH GOSH THE WIKIS SAY HE DIED FOREVERS THO WE CANT CONTRADICT THAT is just so silly

why are there three different Hollow Knight wikis

going through my triannual 2 week minecraft phase and i gotta say, the official minecraft wiki has gotta be one of the highest quality and most thorough fan wikis out there. one million bonus points for the fact that it's divorced from shitty Fandom, too

"Is qui lis wikis timbín siñilin priviligis". A ver: si el que señala un privilegio lo que intenta es universalizar un derecho, quizá sería interesante escucharlo. Si lo que quiere es recortar derechos para que lo terminéis normalizando, yo sospecharía.

We love a fully functioning website that should absolutely NOT have replaced wikis or forums :[

I'm definitely enjoying my time now that I've returned to it. I think one of the big reasons I bounced off of it in the past was that I was trying to do too many things too early. But it also doesn't help that the game explains things poorly; wikis and web searches have really made things clearer

... play with their toys. Nothing to it more than that.

But now we live in an age where we expect writers and actors and producers alike to have as much of a fannish adoration for the material as the audience themselves; where we expect them to be as plugged into discourse and wikis and...

It's surprisingly one of the few fan wikis where the best one is still hosted on Fandom. Any news on a possible move to another host?

Odie les wikis que no comenten res sobre les etimologies dels noms

if you have some coding knowledge or are willing to learn, you can make a free static website on Neocities! there's some free HTML templates for wikis and stuff like that that i could probably dig up if its something youre interested in

Sí me suscribo al futbol me dejara por fin leer webcómics y consultar wikis de rol durante el fin de semana? 😓

It does look like finishing 6.0 story is the trigger from what I can tell. Endwalker part 3 new game plus has them show up, and according to one of the wikis, when the scions are "disbanding" the guy says something about visiting the drowning wench
