An abandoned stone cottage lies downhill from the photographer. It is surrounded by the stone fencing traditional to the Peaks District of England. It is nestled between a large forest of deep green and a yellow green meadow. The roof of of the cottage is severely damaged, probably the result of weather and neglect.
