To celebrate this one-of-a-kind worldbuilding guide, we've been partaking in a community creative exercise called the #WeekOfWorldbuilding. Check out the hashtag to see how our setting has come together so far! You still have time to join in for Communications with @creativemagpie.bsky.social

#WeekOfWorldbuilding

Did we save the best for last? Maybe, but it's Kickstarter launch day, and it's worth talking on the subject of Communication! Now within a world, we often can think that information is just shared, but history and knowledge can easily be twisted or lost, no?

Also, to cap off our #WeekOfWorldbuilding, our favourite bird has a bit to talk about! Much to say about communication, as it were!

I'm sorry the wrap up is so lengthy, but you should've seen it BEFORE I cut it down. (Yes, this is 'cut down'). 9 events is a lot to cover, even summarized!

1st minor event: Massive Economic Shift or Crisis

Exciting! Adding those to the cauldron 🪶📜🌍

Okay y'all, poll results are in for our first two minor events! We have another tie for second place, so once again for simplicity's sake, I'm going to take the option that appears 1st in the list.

So we've got:
1st: Massive Economic Shifts or Crises
2nd: Founding or Overthrow of a Major Order

A relatively well established people...what does their history hold? 👀 #WeekOfWorldbuilding
For our #WeekOfWorldbuilding, the first poll results are in! As such, I'm going to settle on sentient humanoid history as having been developing for approximately 3,000 years now.

With 3 major events, that would put at least 1 major event every 1,000 years - with minor events sprinkled between.
Poll results are in!

Winning with 7 votes, our sentient civilization is anywhere between 1,001 and 10,000 years old. As a result, we're going to have 3 major events, and 6 minor events, throughout the course of history so far.
