Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, cooked cherries, oak, licorice, light earth, herbs, black pepper, spices and chocolates. Nice length on the finish with fine grained tannins and cherries. This is a very tasty Cabernet Franc from Red Mountain in Washington State. Showing nice complexity with a soft mouthfeel. Still young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years. Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years and see how it evolved. Has good potential to become a 94 point wine. This Single Vineyard Cabernet Franc is smooth, rich and fruit forward. Soft and elegant. Good by itself as a sipping wine, or with food. This is a delicious Syrah from Red Mountain in Washington State. Rich and extracted, yet not in your face kind of wine. This Single Vineyard Syrah is well balanced with nice complexity. Fruit forward and spicy. I had the 2022 not too long ago, and it definitely gets better with age. Will continue to age nicely in the next 7 years. Good by itself as a sipping wine. This is a gorgeous 12 year old Cabernet Sauvignon from Red Mountain in Washington State. Complex and fruit forward. Rich and elegant. I had a more recent vintage not too long ago, and it’s definitely better with age. This Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is absolutely fantastic now. Drinking at its peak, and will continue to drink nicely in the next 7 years. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel and a gorgeous nose. Loved smelling on it. The high alcohol is well integrated by now. Good by itself as a sipping wine, and paired beautifully with the delicious Wagyu Steak. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged in all new French oak barrels for 20 months. 15.2% alcohol by volume. 94 points. $180.

Dama Wines Lonesome Spring Vineyard Syrah 2021, Yakima Valley, Washington State Purple in color with a wide purplish rim and medium plus intensity. Dry on the palate with nice complexity and a soft mouthfeel. Showing red and black fruits with light wood, spices, coffee, dark chocolates, earth, light vegetables and tobacco leaf. This Single Vineyard Syrah from Yakima Valley is light and airy. Fruit forward and easy drinking. Still young, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Would be nice to revisit it in 3 years. Tangy and spicy. Good by itself or with food. 13.9% alcohol by volume. 90 points. $52.

Col Solare Winery Collector's Society Syrah 2022, Red Mountain, Washington State Deep inky in color with a short purple/ reddish rim. Strong nose of black currants, oak, licorice, light vanilla, tobacco, chocolates, tar, light barnyard and black pepper. Full-bodied with medium acidity and long legs. Dry on the palate with black currants, black plums, oak, licorice, earth, black tea, herbs, tar, light vegetables, peppercorn and barnyard. Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries. This is a very tasty Syrah from Red Mountain. Well balanced, rich and extracted. Powerful and spicy. Still very young, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly, but already showing complexity. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years. Needs a couple of hours to open up properly, but good right out of the bottle too. A nice sipping wine that will also pair nicely with BBQ Meats. A blend of 93% Syrah and 7% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged for 18 months in (46% new) French oak barrels. 15% alcohol by volume. 91 points. $85.

Dry on the palate with medium acidity. Showing red fruits with earth, light wood, spices, coffee, black tea, metals and peppercorn. Short and tangy finish with tart raspberries and soft tannins. This 7 year old Mourvedre blend from Yakima Valley is still drinking nicely, although a little past its prime. Soft and smooth. Elegant and fruit forward. This Single Vineyard GSM blend is elegant and feels more like a like Southern Rhone red. Nicely balanced with nice complexity. A blend of 70% Mourvedre, 25% Grenache and 5% Syrah. 14.5% alcohol by volume. 89 points. $45.
