Besides recapping this past week's outfits, I also discovered that the smallest things can sometimes spark the biggest realizations. #VulnerablyMe
Weekly Style Recap: January 12-16, 2026
Happy Sunday, everyone! How has your weekend been treating you? It's been a rather relaxing one for me, but boy, it sure has been COLD lately. I am SO very much over winter—honestly, I'm over winter as soon as it starts. I'm not cold-blooded like some folks are, but I'm definitely not hot-blooded either. I hate summer almost as much as I hate winter.

Happy new year! My extended vacation provided me time to reflect on my career journey, and where I want to go. Oh, and there's my usual outfit recap as well! #VulnerablyMe
Weekly Style Recap: January 5-9, 2026
Hello there, everyone! A belated merry Christmas and happy new year to all of you. Yep, I'm back! I had a nice and relaxing sabbatical—as I'm fondly calling my over-a-month off from work. It was wonderful to spend the time as I wanted. I spent a lot of time relaxing, recharging, and generally just enjoying the free time. I didn't even dread coming back in to work.

This week I wrote about something that’s been bothering me: calling people “threats” when they’re just trying to do their jobs. Language shapes culture. Weekly outfits + security thoughts inside. #VulnerablyMe
Weekly Style Recap: November 17-21, 2025
Happy Sunday, everyone! I trust you are all having a great weekend. It’s been a nice weekend for me so far, especially in preparation for my long vacation, or “hibernation” as I’m fondly calling it. ☺️ I want to ensure I’ve things in order and have accomplished as much as possible at work, so as to not leave anyone hanging, nor to place any additional burden on my colleagues.

This week's outfits are up, plus thoughts on "zero trust"—a security term that actually describes how we protect ourselves in everyday life, without even realizing it.

Weekly Style Recap: November 10-14, 2025
Happy Sunday! How is your weekend treating you? Been pretty good here, and soaking up all of the relaxation I possibly can. ☺️ The past week was extremely busy dealing with a few emergencies, so I was very ready for the weekend to arrive. This coming week also is the last full week of work I have left for the year.

This week's outfits + a reflection on something that's been on my mind: the small details in our photos that can give away more than we realize. A gentle reminder to look at the whole frame.

Weekly Style Recap: November 3-7, 2025
Hello, and happy Sunday, everyone! ☺️ How is your weekend treating you so far? It's been a very low-key weekend for me so far. I really need to re-motivate myself to continue on with my CISSP studies to try and tackle that certification. I think it would be quite beneficial to my career in the long run, even if I still don't quite know exactly…

Organizations plan for incident response, but what about recovery? This week I'm thinking about the toll on security teams and why rest shouldn't be a luxury.

Weekly Style Recap: October 20-24, 2025
Happy Sunday! I trust you all are having a safe and enjoyable weekend so far. Be sure to cram in as much rest and relaxation as possible before Monday! I usually fill my hours between YouTube, endless episodes of Columbo, and video games—of which I’ve moved from Cyberpunk 2077 (having finally finished each ending, including the secret one!) to Outer Worlds, in preparation for picking up the sequel.

This week's recap may be light on outfits, but heavier on reflection. Smart glasses are getting sleeker, but what does it mean to normalize wearable cameras? Contemplating the consent & security questions we might not be asking yet. #VulnerablyMe
Weekly Style Recap: October 13-17, 2025
Hey everyone! Happy Sunday! How is your weekend going? Mine had been going pretty well, until the wee hours of this morning. I'm still not entirely sure what happened, but I had awakened to adjust myself while sleeping, when something cracked, popped, tore—which I can't quite identify—occurred in my back. It didn't feel like it was in my back per se, but felt like it was much deeper.

Sometimes the reminder to feel safe doesn’t come from a headline, but from a new fragrance that feels like home. Writing this week about scent, quiet confidence, and wanting to trust my wings—even when my feet hesitate to leave the ground. #VulnerablyMe
Weekly Style Recap: September 29-October 3, 2025
Happy Saturday! Yes, you read that correctly. I'm actually writing this a day early, as I'm headed to a Twenty One Pilots concert Sunday evening. Very excited for it, as it's been several years since last seeing them! I'll confess that I haven't yet listened to their latest album that was recently released, but at this point, I'm thinking that I am going to let myself be surprised by any new songs they incorporate into the show.

Sometimes, when grasping for a topic to write about, one is born simply through my natural writing. Personal reflection along with the usual style recap this week. #VulnerablyMe
Weekly Style Recap: September 15-19, 2025
Happy Sunday to you! The upcoming week is going to be a little shorter for me, as I had decided to take Monday off and have a nice 3-day weekend. Reflecting upon it, it was probably a wise idea for me to take the extra day—I've been having some difficulty with coming up with something to write about this week. I just can't seem to concentrate.

Weekly Style Recap: September 8-12, 2025
Happy Sunday, everyone! How has the weekend been treating you? It's been pretty nice for me—uneventful and relaxing. I'm sure I sound like a broken record saying that pretty much EVERY weekend, but it holds true for me. Having a relaxing and uneventful weekend helps me prepare mentally for the week ahead, and gives me that fresh start come Monday morning.

Weekly Style Recap: September 1-5, 2025
Happy Sunday! I hope you all have been enjoying the weekend! It has been rather uneventful for me—a haircut being the highlight—but that's exactly the way I like it. Personally, I would much rather have a weekend of doing nothing to relax and prepare for the coming week ahead. I'm definitely a bit of a homebody, but that's okay by me.

Weekly Style Recap: August 25-29, 2025
Happy Sunday, everyone! No, I hadn't forgotten to put together this post. It had been a rather busy week at work, and Saturday was pretty busy as well. I'm very thankful that all of the busyness was due to things I enjoy, so I didn't particularly mind. Honestly, the weekend seems more appropriate for my weekly recap anyway, rather than posting it on Fridays.

A relatively quiet week for this week's recap and reflection. It's okay to not have something to say all the time. Sometimes the spark isn't there. #VulnerablyMe
Weekly Style Recap: August 18-22, 2025
Happy Saturday! It's strange how sometimes I can be crazy busy at work, even though my calendar is relatively sparse. A meeting will produce an impromptu discussion, which can sometimes last even longer than the meeting itself that sparked it! Such was the case on Friday—an hour-long meeting with a department spurred an even longer post discussion internally amongst ourselves after the meeting ended.

Weekly Style Recap: July 28-August 1, 2025
Happy weekend, everyone! As of 6:00pm Friday evening, I am on vacation staycation for the next nine peaceful days. What do I have planned, you may ask? I have absolutely nothing planned — I am almost squealing in delight! 😁 One thing I will be doing over the weekend is watching the premiere episode of the newest season of Project Runway.
