Judge Judy has a saying: Beauty fades, dumb is forever.
If you consider yourself high value based on looks alone, you’re in for a wake up call at some point in life.

Tesla has total assets of 122 billion. It has total revenue of 97 billion. It has operating income of 7.1 billion.
It has "market value" of one trillion based on, a lot of excitable and not accurate estimates about how the company will perform. It's in the process of losing the EV battle.

This makes sense when you understand that Tesla is currently valued at $1.4 trillion, of which maybe $30 billion is based on its worth as a car company and the other $1,370,000,000,000 is based on the estimated resale value of Elon Musk's invisible clothes
Tesla CEO Elon Musk scored a resounding victory on Thursday as shareholders approved a pay package of as much as $878 billion over the next decade, endorsing his vision of morphing the EV maker into an AI and robotics juggernaut.

One year on, we must question the value of an apology made by a Government that refuses to listen and respond to the voices of survivors.
Every child, young person or adult placed in state or faith-based care should be protected from harm and given everything they need to thrive.

Food systems drive 1/3 of global emissions today. New @wbcsd.bsky.social guidance, which features input from GFI, shows how companies can credibly measure and scale emissions-avoiding solutions—like plant-based meat— across the ag & food value chain 🌱 https://bit.ly/430Tob3

Like measuring the value of someone’s speech based on “likes vs replies” is just so fucking dumb so maybe we start there

Gotta love hitching an entire economy onto not a good or service itself that does something or adds value, but on the speculation that a product *might* work, maybe, somehow, one day based on uhh... vibes.
Seems stable to me!

You would think the rich people would have learned that the actual value of an asset is based on its actual value, not its evaluation.
Maybe they’re nostalgic for 2008?

The value of the company is based upon speculative , expected, possible return; like throwing money down at a gambling table based upon probabilities of winning
Like the .com bubble,it is speculative profit being cashed in prior to it existing. Only those who cash out early win. Everyone else loses

I honestly don’t get the value of this company. They hoover up energy and water. Their product constantly gets things wrong and, in extreme cases, coaches people into suicide.
And it’s all built on what seems to be malicious and vast intellectual property theft.
What does OpenAI offer the world?

Disneyland has added "Park Visits" under your barcode, and this must be based on account or pass # or something - because I haven't used this pass every other day this year.
Feels like maybe a renewal tactic or something?
"Look how many visits you've done, you are getting your value out of this."

Such a framework would likely be based on principles of information theory, where the highest value is placed on the acquisition, processing, and dissemination of knowledge. The divine would not be a supernatural entity, but the network itself – the interconnected web of all information.

sure let's abolish socialism to have choice
30 different police departments, call the correct one based on the crime & victim's race
17 different fire departments, based on home value & who u know
42 different energy companies based on generation method & user income

It's also telling that the performance goals for Musk are based purely on the value of TSLA stock, and not at all on its underlying financial fundamentals.
There are many ways to pump (and dump) the price of a stock.
Many legal, but highly unethical.

purchased by Swiss based Gunver - but it has its own murky connection to Russia - and the $22 billion price is a bargain. However how can Lukoil get the money given sanctions?
Lukoil’s cash flow is being devastated - it’s had to post write downs of its value, it’s losing relationships trading

You know, I get the point here, but can we please stop referring to women based on their value to the other people in their lives? We've got value because we're people, not because someone else would miss us. A woman who has no family isn't worth less than a wife and mother.
