Any MSXperts about? Is there such a thing?
I’ve tried three (3) different machines (Sony, Sanyo, Toshiba) and they all have the picture slightly offset to the left.
Not an issue for the weekend, I’m just puzzled cos it’s clearly either a) LCD issue or b) VDP issue.

100%. My late father was director of the local V de Paul chapter here in Oro Valley for some years. The work was mostly stuff like writing checks to get people’s electricity turned back on. I rarely saw him angrier than at people who tried to use VdP business as an occasion to proselytize.
Also, Google "Society of Saint Vincent de Paul" and your home town to find a local conference (chapter) near you. We're a Catholic organization over 200 years old that seeks to help people who are hungry or have housing and other material needs. And we don't proselytize.
You can search for your local food banks. Also, many churches provide food pantry services, so if you live in a large city and want to target specifically helping your neighbors, you can search for churches nearby running one.

Some might not even be possible — you could make all the pinball plungers in Spring Yard Zone purple, but the jewel blocks in the special stage all use the same art, switching between VDP palette lines to display in blue, yellow, pink and green. S&K wisely cut those down to just three colors. 10/12

Yeah, then when Wout and VdP show up, they invent lines of their own that nobody else can ride. Nys is pretty good at that, too. He got a bit cocky there though.

Made some progress! Got MSX VDP and VRAM access and control in ForthMSX now working. Playing around with a bit of Forth code to twinkle bitmapped stars live on screen in text mode (picture only below, sorry no GIF). Much faster than BASIC on my Sony MSX2. #MSX #Forth #Z80 github.com/Robert-van-E...
