Like it's not a matter of "didn't put enough effort in unlearning bigoted assumptions" for the guys who thinks trans people are the high bishops in a secret pedophile global communist conspiracy, they are just deeply evil bigots who view queer people as less than human.

loving myself is easier than it was Before, but i'm still unlearning bad habits from then

but today, someone communicated she finds me attractive

and i listened to HER instead of the voice in my head saying "This is pity. You are the sexual equivalent of a Make-a-Wish child."

so: personal growth!

They have four divisions now, btw. 🙂

I know we can’t financial literacy ourselves out of this system but I can tell you that BOTH PARTIES are to blame. I don’t see eye-to-eye with leftists on a lot of things (still unlearning/learning) but their criticism of ALL parties is spot on. TRUST.

From colonial expansion to corporate boardrooms, supremacy indoctrination of white masculinity has always meant extraction.

The unlearning is the real work. I was on the prudish side and always in my head but finding the right person has done amazing things for me. I love that!!!

‘Universities exist to move towards margins not away from them’

Excellent and thought provoking inaugural lecture by our new President @micireland.bsky.social Dermot Nestor last night on the importance of unlearning as much as learning and resistance and refusal as much as acceptance.

I’m slow to get things — and by get things — I mean deeply comprehend them in some connecting level within and beyond myself but on mornings like these I am both grateful for my ability to be patient with myself over years, and hope others are giving me grace and committing to their own unlearning

own biases; people who recognize their own biases and see no value in challenging and unlearning them; and people who only see value in acknowledging their biases when it’s politically, socially, and economically advantageous to say they have them while doing nothing to actually change their biases

This. A lot of our learning who we are is unlearning the cultural prejudices we have acquired. Likewise decolonising our minds.

I'm not even bi after unlearning it, by the way. I have a pretty broad and flexible interpretation of what a woman is and what a "woman's body" looks and functions like, but ultimately I remain a lesbian in the same way I was already a lesbian before I came out. This actually a very common trans....
