#TyphoonFamily is not a perfect #kdrama, but it's an honest one. It’s about people who keep going when the math doesn’t work, broken contracts, and when grief doesn’t give them time to process.

Mother - Offspring tensions create easy drama, that's why most #kdrama writers use it.

But once you expand your watchlist, you'll see diversity. #TwentyFiveTwentyOne, #LoveTakeTwo, #NotOthers, and the most recent #TyphoonFamily for example, had a very well written maternal relationship.
